you could put an air induction tube running front to back sitting right on top of the transmission tunnel you got on the floor there to the possible grille you spoke of, and yes that car needs a grille. an upside down t shape of sorts. doing it like this you can hide the air tunnel under an arm rest

I've been a fan since seeing you on Monster House. Ian you are a man of skill and talent with vision. And I cannot forget Jamie, you as well have talent. Your video and editing skills are top notch. What I like most about your videos is Ian not running around the shop looking for tools for half the video like some other guy out there. Both of you keep up the great work. Hi Ian and Jamie , Still enjoying the channel , like they way Jamie is starting to say what She wants and asking questions good work , Normally I wouldn't say anything but while that motor is out it would only take about 3-4 hrs and a little bit of cash to run a ball hone thru it and put rings and bearings in it, and those fibre timing gears are a pig to change in the car so put an alloy one on while its out , all in all I think you will both be giggling like kids on your first drive, those are a fun vehicle to drive ! , All the best from Aus !

An other great project you have going. And I do feel your pain, here in the central valley we are dealing with 110 ' heat for over a week. Any way it's a good excuse to stay inside and watch you work. Have you given any thought to using a ratcheting hub on both tires, like a mountain bike drive hub. then you could weld the sprocket to the axle anywhere you need to. look forward to seeing how it turns out.
